MCA President and CEO serves as a panelist at the 2019 Business Leadership Conference

June 20, 2019 – Managed Care Advisors’ (MCA) President and CEO, Lisa M. Firestone, will be a panelist at the 2019 WIPP Business Leadership Conference. Due to Ms. Firestone’s experience with entrepreneurship and government contracting along with her history as an advocate for Women Owned Small Business she will be participating in two panels “Business Intersectionality: 5 Generations in the Workforce” and “Advocacy: It’s Policy. No Politics.”

Ms. Firestone has over 20 years’ experience as a business owner and federal government contractor, as well as an active history as an advocate for small businesses. In 2013, Ms. Firestone had the opportunity to speak before the Senate Committee of Small Business & Entrepreneurship on the impact that the government shutdown has had on small business owner.

The Business Leadership Conference is Women Impacting Public Policy’s (WIPP) annual event for federal government contractors. During this conference they provide a full day of federal contracting education, one-on-one matchmaking meetings, as well as reception and networking opportunities with decision makers. WIPP is known as a national nonpartisan organization advocating on behalf of women entrepreneurs—strengthening their impact on our nation’s public policy, creating economic opportunities, and forging alliances with other business organizations.
